There were some journals from the artists that I'm watching on FurAffinity, and I can't help the feeling to ask this.

What's with this Weasyl thing? I know the website, but I just couldn't get the idea on why is it important and why is it different and special from DA, FA and SF?...

I'm just curious about Weasyl. Is it a trend right now?
